About Me
I am a passionate and results-driven UX professional with over three years of experience in the field. I hold a Master of Information with a concentration in User Experience Design from the University of Toronto, and have worked extensively within the Ontario Public Service. My background now includes both user experience design and business analysis, where I've been able to bridge the gap between user-centered design principles and organizational needs.

I worked as a Senior Project Analyst for the Ministry of Finance's Provincial Local Finance Division, helping modernize a critical platform that handles $12 billion in property taxes. Serving as the principle UX designer in this role, I facilitated user interviews, conducted workshops, and created personas, journey maps, and prototypes to ensure alignment with user needs. I also played a pivotal role in developing the Business Requirements Document (BRD), supporting the transition of help desk operations, and advocating for the integration of user-centered design principles.

Before this, I worked as an Experience Designer within the Government of Ontario’s GSIC Cluster, where I contributed to the design and prototyping of a centralized consumer-facing platform. I led user research, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and translated user data into actionable design decisions that supported multiple agile sprints. I’ve also worked as a Product Design Intern at Ala-Hausse, a startup where I was the sole designer for a digital marketplace, conducting user tests, ideating new features, and iterating on designs for the app.

Having lived in seven different countries across four continents, I bring a diverse perspective to my work, which has greatly influenced my approach to creating inclusive and accessible digital experiences. My focus as a UX professional is on improving digital access for marginalized communities, ensuring that technology works for everyone.

Skills
Prototyping

Through my work experience creating a new platform from scratch and taking the lead role designing a whole scale overhaul of a software, I have gained a significant amount of experience prototyping and reiterating designs.

User Research

I have taken part in interviewing 0ver 45 users, collating their data and transforming them it into deliverables. Also, as a History major, I completed a 95 page thesis for my undergrad. This has imparted strong qualitative and quantitative research skills upon me.

Visual Design

Through constant iteration of design and critical feedback I have developed a unique visual style. This along with my background in Studio Art and Graphic Design, I have been able to translate ideas into elegant deliverables
